PTCL brings Flash Fiber to Mumtaz City
Mumtaz City and PTCL have signed an agreement to bring high-speed fibre internet to the community. PTCL will design, develop and deploy an optical fibre network across Mumtaz City, carrying its Flash Fiber service to homes and high-rise buildings.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, the country's leading ICT services provider, has signed a strategic agreement with Mumtaz City to bring high-speed internet to the development's residents and businesses through Flash Fiber, PTCL's flagship fibre service.
Under the terms of the agreement, PTCL takes on the comprehensive design, development and deployment of an optical fibre network across Mumtaz City. The network is to carry high-speed internet to more than 2,500 homes and high-rise structures, with the capacity that modern households and businesses now expect of a connection.
The signing ceremony was attended by Nauman Durrani, VP Business Operations North, PTCL; Salman Ali Bajwa, VP Sales, PTCL; and Aqil Jamal Butt, Chief Executive, Mumtaz City, together with senior officials from both organisations.
PTCL describes the deployment as a step towards technology-enabled urban development. Residents and businesses are expected to benefit from better access to digital resources, improved productivity and more dependable online services.
Laying fibre into a community while it is still being built is the part that is difficult to do later. Both companies present the agreement as a shared view of the connectivity a growing community needs, and as a precedent for how a development and a network operator can plan that infrastructure together.
